Inspired by Jason Calacanis and Jason Coleman fat blogging, I’ve decided to take it up as well. My weight, like my previously mentioned wardrobe, has started to have an impact on my confidence level. At the beginning of last year, I was really good at going to the gym everyday and lost about 10 pounds. About half way through the year, I got to busy excuse, excuse, excuse. Needless to say, I gained those pounds back.
I’m about 5′ 9″, so I’d say my ideal weight is about 170 (if you believe I have a large frame). That means I’m a good 28 pounds over weight. I haven’t got back into a stable exercise routine yet, but yesterday I ate 1,500 calories and felt good about it. My biggest hurdle will be convenience food (fast food) and Carbs (especially breads).
