Blogging From my iPhone

It took me quite awhile to get around to trying the WordPress iPhone app. Writing thisl post seems to be easier than entering the title and tags. This is because the auto correct/predictive text doesn’t seem to me enabled for anything other than the body of the post.

Adding a photo is pretty easy, although I can’t see it in the preview. You can choose a photo from your library or take one fresh.

For mobile blogging, I think email to Flickr to wordpress works fine. I guess this would come in handy if you wanted to bypass Flickr.

Wordpress also has the option of blogging from email. I've never used it though.
  • I hate to be the guy to plug for Blogger -- because it's Blogger -- but the e-mail-to-post option is really good, minus tags. Basically you set up how the e-mail will populate the post ahead of time based on preferences, then it works like: Subject=headline, Body=Body, attachment=photo in the post. Oh, and your blogger account gives you a unique e-mail address for this purpose. Blogger is still clunky, but I am getting to like it more...
