Well… I've used disqus, from a commenter point of view more than a publisher. A cool feature is that you can follow the comments of a disqus member that you like.

I have just started using Disqus and so far like it a lot. It seems to have better features than Intense Debate

I have switched to DISQUS for my site and so far love it. I have also tried intense debate though didn't like the interface or the usability as well. The best part for me using DISQUS is that people can comment using their Facebook and Twitter profiles.
