Sweet MacBook and MacBook Pro Tip

November 21st, 2007 · 2 Comments

I was completely unaware of this feature until watching the Halloween episode of Diggnation (Thanks Kevin). In OS X on a MacBook, you can scroll in almost all application by placing two fingers on the track pad and sliding them up and down. Since my old Mighty Mouse has a dirty track ball - I can’t scroll up or down with it - this tip has been super useful.  Also, if you spread your fingers just a touch, it seems to be more responsive.

Try setting up right click for “double finger tap” in preferences. Completely changed the way I use my mac, no more Cmd+Click gestures.

Thanks, I’ll give it a try.
